If this were on a Korean of Chinese made product we'd all be hollarin' and laughin' about getting what you paid for. Straight up BS from Harley. I don't know what you are paying for, but it ain't quality control.
Best of luck with the build. Looking forward to the finished product. Start another thread explaining the build!
Will definitely get back to this thread with the Outcome & Re-Build.
H-D has viewed these threads & videos, requesting GMR take them down, I have copied the videos & will re-post if necessary. Going nowhere soon...

Why would you tune it for Fulsac baffles only, and void your powertrain warranty? Not worth the small performance improvement to void warranty.
Baffles, Header & Air Cleaner, Harley-Davidson recommends re-tuning (SE Street Tuner) when changing Air Cleaner & Pipes.
Regardless, none of the above created the Sumping Issue. Sumping, Fluid Transfer and a host of other issues are happening on completely stock & fresh off the floor bikes.
Tuning with a non-approved device is an EPA lawsuit judgement that requires H-D to Police & Void your warranty should you choose to tune aftermarket, also allows them to walk away from their defect.
HD and quality are having issues right now,if you get lucky you will get one that's trouble free. Don't help them and void your warranty unless you can take that finance risk. Remember at best this is toy nothing more.
I feel your pain. My 14 CVO toad king crapped out 27 miles short of 50,000 miles on a road trip. Brought it home in a u haul. Harley lost a very loyal customer.
I have a 2018 CVO Ultra. I worry about sumping all the time. So far any warranty work I've had has been covered by the dealers here in town. I've actually considered splitting the cases just to fix the piston oilers. What baffles me is Harley's unwillingness to admit of the issue. I know it's a small percentage of bikes..Since it is, Harley should have no problem fixing the issue, no matter what you've done to the motor. It's a faulty design on their part.

HD is outsourcing all their work to temp workers who could care less and are there as part of their probation/parole. Quality control is pre AMF days. Won't be long till made in china.
Purchased my 3rd H-D last year, Went Big, 2018 CVO Road Glide, heard all the chatter but bought it anyway. 3100 miles later, Sumped on 400 mile road trip, one qt low, extreme heat, loss of power, 100 miles on 6 gal tank of fuel... Local dealer picked up bike at hotel, 2 days on phone & email with support techs, conclusion was voided power train warranty due to unapproved tuning. Heard all the horror stories but we've been tuning & altering for years. Just an excuse to move on from the issue. Bike is currently at GMR Performance in Fort Worth Texas, Loose piston jet oilers, Bad oil pump, Seized Crank & the hits keep coming. This bike will be re-built to 128, with quality parts & competent builder. #3 is it for me.

HD couldn't care less about you or me.

I don't think it's a small percentage anymore, the more units they sell the more prevalent this issue becomes.
I’m buying a 124 s and s. Why would I give Harley more money for a defective product? By the way, I paid cash for the 6 month old bike and will pay cash for the after market motor.
