Cleaning Bronze Armor

Just got a CVO Roadglide in Bronze and it sucks to clean those heat shields. So far what works is just regular Harley chrome polish and finish up with Windex. They look brand new after that. One ride and the bug splatter really sticks on these so be ready to clean them a lot. Make sure they are cold before you put anything in them. Look great but they are a pain.

Soon as I got mine I gave it a good paste wax with Meguiar's wax. Wash with typical car wash and wax type solution and occasionally spray on a coat of C2V3 (similar to F11.. No problems so far. Enjoy!!

Long time user of pledge but I never thought to use Windex on the chrome or of waxing them. Just picked up a new 2021 CVO Limited with the Bronze Armor paint. Glad I stumbled on this thread.
