just put 4500 miles san deigo and back hot trip in desert etc you know the climate. Im thinking of selling my bike as this will be my last long trip [ getting old] . Going to see value of bike at a couple dealerships and web sites. im thinking high twenties . have you seen actual transactions selling prices for a similar 2017 ultra cvo with 42500 miles ? i have seen # as high as 35000 asking price . i figure with bike shortage and pre sturgis my value will never be higher let me know what you think please.

You you are looking at low to mid 20s with that kind of mileage on the bike. Good luck.

I traded a 2017 cvo limited in Jan for a 2021 and went through the same process. My bike had 30k miles on it.

I just saw that Bluegrass HD in KY is selling a '17 CVO Street Glide for $1K less than original MSRP. The used market is insane and the dealerships are so taking advantage of it its a crime.
That same dealership is selling a '17 FLHTKSE w 28,2 on the odo for $29,999... @mazz If your thinking of selling now is the time... Its a sellers market, not a buyers!
I just sold a '19 Ram 2500 Limited to a dealership for $ 1K under the price I negotiated for a 2021 at another dealership, it was a no brainer to make the move!

How old is old? I ask because i am getting ready for a long trip. I started on this trip 2 years ago when i bought my 19 CVO Street Glide. I was an hour from leaving the first time fell down the steps. Only trip i took was to surgery. Broke both bones in my ankly and a leg bone. Needed screws shd plates. The next year i was leaving on Mondy morning. Sunday night around 7 i blacked out fell into my door but twisted my body as i was going down trying to cushion the fall broke my other leg. Broke it in 2 places again screws and plates. I am 67. So just trying to get a handle on getting older!! LOL
