I just picked my new se springer and found this forum and joined. After reading some of the posts I'm a little nervous about the 110 motor. Sounds like lugging it isn"t a good idea. Thanks for all the good posts its alot of good info.[8D]
Congratulations on your new SE Springer! I would say that with any of the 6-speed Harley's you shouldn't lug the engine. You'll probably have to re-think how you ride compared to your Road King. On my wife's 07' Low Rider, I try to keep the RPM's above 3000 and I have had absolutely no problems with engine or transmission noises.Post some pictures when you get a chance. Again -congratulations, nice bike.
We'll see if this picture thing works, i have a heck of a time adding pics of mine buti found a pic that seems to work on the internet. Anyway, long story short the only light on the back of the bike is thebrake light with a blinker on each side. I wasn't feeling good about just the brake lightat night soi add the split wire adaptor that makes all three light up at the same time (you change the blinkers to red lenses). Now all three are always lit, all three go brighter with the brakes on. Bettervis at night than before.
