Default Having my lifters replaced

Put the bike in the shop for the winter. Having them put S&S lifters and pushrods in [2012 CVO Street Glide 110] has 11k on it, bought it with 1900 on it this past May
I asked them to call me if they detect any other wear while doing the work. Would you guys have replaced anything else? Suggestions welcomed

2012 1,900 miles Tires would be due for replacement for age. Any time is a good time ti get rid of HD lifters.

Thanks-I kinda thought the same--it was stored in a climate controlled garage it's entire time before I purchased-never saw rain either , until I bought it I'll call the dealership this week and see what they suggest, I usually ride 12-14k a year so tires will be done at some point soon

Tires are good to the wear markers or 6 years , which ever occurs first.

Even if it was on a tender You will want to keep an eye on the battery. If you notice any sign of weak turn over bring it back to full charge if it goes it again replace it. Weak battery will cause other costly issues. 11 years old 1,900 miles it sat most of it's life . There may be some fuel issues show up. Small amounts of injector clean over time will slowly break the build up down. Don't go adding a lot all at once. If it were mine I would drain the tank.

Owner changed the battery 3 times since new[last in 2019]--changed all fluids[3 hole] every winter----back story, he owned 5 bikes , had a 2010 street glide cvo he had 9200 miles on and a RKC he rode most of the time, in his garage,I never saw the other 2 bikes when I went to his house to purchase. He had multiple toys[all top dollar] and owned 3 homes[1 on Lake Winnipasaukee ] but couldn't ride anymore due to having a neck operation, his bad luck was my good luck--I put nearly 9k on it this year from June until end of Oct[also put 3k on my RKC] and 500 on my 97 heritage springer, my only concern was if I needed to do more than lifters and pushrods on the 110 motor----tires were a concern but fuel issues and fluid changes were no concern after getting all paperwork from owner

Thanks for suggestions-btw here is a pic of the bike near the Memorial to the 7 marines killed in Randolph NH

The SE110 Hd engine has it's issue but it should hold up long as you go easy on it. You took care of the lifter issue so that in a big one. When they open it up to do lifters if there are other problems they will tell you. 2011 2012 seems to be have been a couple of HD' s better years for quality.

IIRC, the 2012 MY bikes had a recall on the regulator. Might want to check to see if that was taken care of.

I will definitely call them this week---they said the bike should be done before Dec 31st--they have treated me well in the past so I'll take their word if there is any additional problems
