First of all congratulations! Beautiful color!!Finally saw the color in person although inside a showroom.
Wondering about the smoked chrome or scorched chrome (as I've heard it both ways) does it appear as bright as chrome in the sun? Concerned that i would be unhappy going back to chrome.
Currently have the Bronze Armor finish which doesn't have a bright finish.
Hoping to see it in the sun but it's not going to happen soon in this area! Lol! Have a dealer with both the RG and the SG. I'm looking at the RG.
Thanks a lot for your any thoughts at all about the bike, color etc. 😀
I’ve seen mine under LED lights and overcast skies, no good sunshine here recently. My thoughts are it will be close to regular chrome. Here are a couple of pictures.
In the garage under LED lights Outside, not direct sun
Actually these are good pics for comparison. Thank you! Well, I'm thinking the finish may be a bit brighter that hoped. I need to figure out if there is too much versus the black bits and the amazing deep blue flake paint.
Oh boy!
That may be exactly what I'm missing. I haven't been able to visualize the finish with the color in the sun. I actually like the finish in the showroom as the lighting isn't overly bright. I'm going to try and set up my bike, Blue Steel and a dark colored bike with a bright chrome finish outside in the sun. I like this finish more when I see the 3 different finishes on the the CVO RG's on the MOCO site. Albeit the finish on my bike is different, it's not bright.
Hope these help. I know you won't be disappointed. Even in the garage I just stare at it as I walk by.
Yes that color and finish is stunning! It's getting difficult as this color is already getting hard to find. Also, what backrest pad did you decide on from Badboyzcyclez for this bike for the rider?
Thanks my friend!
After talking with George from BadBoyz, I went with the the Scorpion line. The diamond pattern is almost an exact match, except for the suede accent on my seat. Got the message they shipped today, so I will have pics soon.
Ride safe!!
