After 1600 great kms on my ST I started thinking that maybe I should've gone with CVO
other than a little bling, its the same bike. The only differences are styling. Your comments lead me to believe your second guessing the styling of the ST.
Nah, you made the right choice. Upgrade the rear suspension to Ohlins and you will love your ST and forget all about the CVO !!
I am not sure if I am advanced enough to have Ohlins suspension.
Yes, it would be best to forget the CVO.
And cheapest.

I do love my ST - it's more like "oh, a new iPhone? Meh, same **** as mine current one! But...wait, maybe I am wrong?"

I like that El Diablo ST. Would I trade my CVO Road Glide for it? Maybe, but it would be hard to talk myself into it. If I was drunk it might be easier, but then again, Im not so sure of that. Hell Im no help!!!
A little late to this debate, but I thought briefly about the CVO and landed on the ST instead. My style is "performance bagger" and I'm building toward that, the ST just fits that profile better. Not that the CVO's aren't gorgeous, I love them and HEAVILY considered buying Darkstar_XIII's when he had it for sale. It's just that I'm not planning on using a lot of the stock components, and even the ST is a bit of a waste as it is in the direction I'm planning on going.

I'm in exactly same boat!
What sets us apart is that I do all I can to steer myself out of anything more than a cam and stuff.
Then again - in this case, why not a CVO? LOL.
