I far from abuse the system on my 2020 CVO Road Glide. I've always kept it at reasonable volumes and if it's a situation where I can't hear it (windy interstate day for example) I just turn it off. With that, I could consistently have saddlebag speakers crap out. I got tired of changing them every few months so went with a full upgrade to Ground Zero Yellow Baskets in the fairing and lids (6x9 in the lids with a special adapter) and a SounDigital 800-watt amp. Much better and louder than BOOM II and it's holding up to rain just fine. I've put about 25,000 miles on the system in the last 5 months with no issues. I paid $1600 total for components, installation, tune, and flash. Compared to a lot of other systems, I'd consider it budget friendly.
