CVO use to come with three free updates. That went away in 2017 or 18 if memory serves correctly. You know Harleys improvements to the CVO, pay more get less.
For day to day I use CarPlay with apple maps. However for trips or say spending a week in a nice riding area I use Bike Nav. I can plan the route I want to take to get there. Once there I can plan day trips and the roads and routes I want.
My repeated history of buying new Denalis, SLT3s, LTZ etc does not impress GM, either. You have to pay for the updates.

Pretty soon, all that nice stuff is gonna cost you every month as a "subscription" even though you paid for the option when you bought it. Just like the dope man, the price is nice until you "have to have it".
I have a better workaround on my 2022 FLTRK, however it was possible because it doesnt have the whim module installed like the 21 and up cvo's. On those bikes, you are just out of luck unless you connect your wireless headset.
