I was just informed that my Orange Springer will ship around Sept 14th instead of Aug 24th. Anyone else having shipping problems on new bikes?

they did the same thing to me last year . first to order july 23/06 was supposedto get it inno later than the end of aug. i got it nov 10 said order got moved back at the factory. i think it is common practice for them .
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. The dealer told me ship datefor my 08SE Springer of Aug 18th and up to 10 days shipping. They called me on Aug. 4th and told me mybike is in YEA!!!!!! I already have 1200 miles on it but still waiting for my sert for the 08's ERRRRRRRR[:@]so I can put on my V&H staggered bigshots.
I did the factory tour in York on Friday morning, I saw an orange '08 SE springer in the plant, so they are making them now, the tour guide said that it takes 2 people about2 Hrs to build a SE Springer, they work in 2 man teams and the same 2 peoplework on the bike from start to finish....pretty cool info..[8D]
Great news I just got a call Friday from my dealer, St. Paul HD and gave me the VIN of my just completed Inferno Orange FXSTSSE! I wonder if mine is the one you saw?! It is set to ship so only about two days off the original date. I'm pretty happy with that kind of news,.
Thanks all for your input, I'll post some pics when I get delivery and also when I get the WindVest windshield and Iron Bags installed. Sounds like the SERT will not be in for a few weeks so no pipe mods or cams for the near future. I am going to install Big City Thunder baffles and then modify the stock SE Baffles. Also have a luggage rack and sissy bar coming.

I rode to my dealer's today and they said that their orders are running around 3 weeks behind. They weren't happy campers either. The Rocker is non existent so far.
MY BIKE IS IN AND ON THE RACK...
My dealer called today to let me know my bike was on the rack and will be ready for me to pick-up tomorrow!
He asked if I wanted to come in and take a look it, I was over there in about two hours. The Inferno Orange is spectacular, it was causing a pretty big stir in the dealership. They are putting on the WindVest, sissybar, backrest, luggage rack and turn signal kit. No SERT so I'll have to keep the exhaust as is for now. Can't wait..........
