What would a lubricant do for loose neck bearings? The 1000 mile service filled the neck already... I'm not sure what that would cure...it's still a viscus liquid...
Sounds like they did a great 1K service, very similar to the way it was assembled at the factory. Make them fix it.

Yep, ain't that the truth! Muffel the clack? That's not a bad idea but I'd still hear it and that's the problem. The dealer says bring it in....I can feel my chest tightening up....I should be able to sit with it while they work on it - like my child.

Same thing on my 07 fxdse. Found the tank loose. The clack went away after that. The trouble Ihave now is the starter, is make a werid sound. Sounds like its grinding and does not start. Any body had this trouble? It finally starts when Itry it again.

I have not had this problem but sometimes when it is really hot the bike turns over slowly but always starts.
