Dash Tracing Needed Please.... Help please...
Okay folkslet me say upfront I am not trying to be a poser or make my bike what you guys paid for, so here is my problem. I've had 5 back surgeries and have a plate in my neck. I bought an 08 RK Classic and it is impossible for me to see the directionals and idiot lites where HD placed them. My dealer suggested we put The SE RK dash on and move the lights up to the top of the bar. We bought everything but the insert on the dash which says Screamin Eagle Road King. I completely understand that from the MOtor Company they won't sell it because folks paid a lot of money to buy the bike, but they don't make any alternatives in plane chrome or whatever, like they do for all the other speedo setups. the dealer can't even get one to get the specs so I could have it made up at a machine shop. So here's the question, is someone out there with on 08 Screamin Eagle RK willing to send me a tracing of the insert on the dash so I can have something made up to fit there? Again, let me stress I understand the elite class the SE bikes are in and I don't want to badge my bike in anyway other than a RK Classic, I did change to SE bars and pipes and filter, but nowhere does it say SE Road King... The bars were swept back better, they were thicker and again it was a physical issue.... but HD sells them to anyone. so I'm trying to imbed a picture in this post, if you have this bike and think you might help I'd be grateful If I've offended anyone by asking, I'm sorry. That was not the intent. The tracing I need is of the black inset on the dash...
