has anyone installed the HD lock kit for your hard leather sadddle bags? Instructions says to put them on rear of bags. I want to replace the exsisting push button with the lock kit. Anyone done this yet?
I am assuming your using the harley kit. If so the locks are mounted in the back. You basically tie off the buttons and use the new locks as the button instead - Works great!
I've switched from the leather bags to hard bags, but have locks on the leathers. The lock in the back becomes your only button. The button up front becomes inoperable.
