Default No more saggy bags

I installed the kit last night in about two hours. Its not very hard to install it just takes some time. It really helped to soften the leather before hand. Now the bags look like new on the bike. Rich

12-14 oz leather in mine.. If they sag, I must be haulin bowling *****.. But that kit does look nice.. I bet a guy could fabricate his own with some plastic sheets and a glue that bonds it to leather.

I'm new here. I bought my first Harley, a 2002 Heritage about 4 months ago. The bags were saggy, one was nearly collapsed. I was considering buying new bags at about $500.00. But after cleaning them up I noticed the leather was in great shape, the bags were just floppy and saggy. I acquired the saggy bag kit along with some other parts from a user here. The install was straightforward and fairly easy and the bags look like brand new. And they hold thier shape very well, almost like hard bags. Very good invest, ent, even if your bags are new, this will help keep them looking that way.
