Can you let me know how you get along on the slip on mufflers. I have been told, any you put on will not change the sound, due to the catalytic converter on the RG SE being in front of the mufflers. My dealership told me this after installing some on their first one last week. I just wonder if it is true and if so, what one will have to do to get sound from this beast.
I am seriously considering the Yellow since I was too late on the orange. They have one coming in Oct 15th.
I will keep you updated for sure. I havent had much luck getting info on the exhaust. I was told by a independant dealer that the Rinehart slip ons would work and I would not need to change the download unless I upgraded the air filter also.

So far no problems with excessive glare from the painted inner fairing. I like it painted better so far.
I put Rinehart slip ons on my new SERG3 and the worked fine. No issues with run quality at all...It is not as loud tho as my '08 RG is with same muffs... I wish Rinehart made a 4" slip on muff instead of the 3.5"...You loose a little of the "look" I've had my SERG3 now for a month and ready for the first 1K service... I agree it is stiffer ride than either of my other RG's (2003 & 2008) But the power is awesome and I LOVE IT!!!!!!.I'm waiting on Brian Klock to send me a 8" black flare wshield for it. I just installed a 12" tinted on my '08 and it's a awesome windshield.......Sherm
Just in case you need to know.... You need to click on the small arrow at the right end of the small pics across the top to see them all. Then click on the small pic to make it the bigger pic......Sherm
Very nice.
Orange would be my pick. I would lean toward yellow if it came with vivid black.
When you say it rides stiffer are you referring to the new frame or is it harsher due to less padding in the seat?
I thought the SE Road Glide came lowered in the rear, but it shows same clearance as the regular RG.

I was the one that mentioned I thought it rode stiff, but noone who owns one has confirmed that opinion. I asked my dealer about it when I returned to Cleveland, and he thought all of the '09 touring bikes rode stiffer due to the 17" front wheel and the new frames. I didn't demo any other touring bikes so I can't say if that's accurate, but it makes sense.
