Here is a few pics of my new CVO RoadGlide. I went and picked it up yesterday after some long driving. My dad found it for me where he lives. He lives in WV and found it at Harley of WV in Charleston. I live in MD and after making the deal on Friday over the phone my 8 yr old daughter and I headed for WV at 2 AM and was at my fathers at 8:30 that morning. We then went to the dealer and finished paperwork and loaded up. Then went back to my dads and hung out for about an hour and then headed back home. After 900 miles of traveling and not much sllep I made it home about 8:00 Saturday evening. I took my daughter for a little ride this morning. Since she rode with me to get it I told her she got the first ride over the wife and oldest daughter. I will get some better pics when I get a chance.
Sweet bike and a nice Dealership. I'm from Charleston, IL but have been to the dealership in Charleston, W.Va. several times. I have a lot of family in that area.
Here is some more pics. That Electric Orange paint really stands out in the sunshine. There is alot of metallic in the paint. I need to find some pipes or slip ons and a tuner for it. It is a little to quiet for me right now. If anyone has any recomendations feel free to let me know.
It is hard to believe that they still put an air temp gauge in it instaed of an oil temp gauge.
Terry I have always liked your bike a bunch and said if they ever came out with another CVO RoadGlide I would get one. Well here it is.
Bowtie, I am not to far from you. I am on the Eastern Shore in MD near Denton. About a 1/2 hour from Dover. I have been to Helens for some good sausage sandwitches.
Good luck with your new ride. I never really gave road glides a chance until I stumbled across this site and there was terry's bike and now because of him I own an 07 and wishing every day since the damn 09's came out I could afford to trade up for the exact same bike you just got. Maybe if someone in georgia didn't hit powerball I could have kept the dream alive. Oh well
congrats.........................I really don't like you right now...............this is the only bike that would cause me to get rid of mine for....................
take care of her.......road glides are a great machine
