Default 110 Recall

Have any of your dealers received the parts to do the heads on the 110 motors and has anyone had them done yet? Seems some dealers are saying that they have not yet received any parts?

Got back from Sturgis and the bike wasn't running right...again. Hadn't had a chance to take it to the dealer until yesterday. Had the oil changed again and mentioned that the bike was not running right..terrible idle and just ran rough as can be, and seemed hotter than before. I mentioned that I wanted to check into the "recall". Dealer looked it up and for my 07 SE Ultra only the heads and gaskets will be replaced. Service man said he wasn't sure why only the heads, but apparently some are having more done than others. Mine was just the heads and gaskets. In the mean time, I got the bike back from the oil change about an hour later and was told that the rear cylinder gasket was blown (again..this is the 2nd time), so for sure the recall will be done. So, once again I am without a bike for a couple weeks while they order the parts.

My question is...IS THIS GOING TO FIX THIS ISSUE? AND..WHY MUST WE BE GOING THROUGH ALL THIS CRAP TO BEGIN WITH????Why is the newer heads and gaskets any better than the orginal and what improvement will I see...if any? Does anyone know?

Will be bringing my '07 SERK in for the 5000 mile service next month. Will have the 110 "enhancement" campaign done then. Have had zero problems with the bike. Optimistic this won't introduce any.

Mine has not been a problem yet, I am waiting to see if this is the right fix, or if there is going to be another recal, unless mine starts to have problems.

I think my dealer was just preparing me for the "delay in receiving parts" that is sometimes an ongoing issue with MOCO. They were closed on Monday, and I called Tuesday to insure the fix had been approved by the service mgr and it was, of course, and was told that the parts could be in by end of week, or first of next week. While the fix itself is not a long drawn out ordeal, I think it was just getting the parts that they were concerned about. I will follow up again today to see if they have an eta on the parts. Weather changing this weekend, much cooler..sad to be without the bike.

Were you having any issues prior to the fix? Have you noticed any enhancement since the fix?
