no problems with mine aside from the 3 times they had to do the recall gaskets! 3 times all in a row! lol
they finally had to order a new front cylinder due to the base gasket that refused to seal.....
so far it's been dry...
I just had the voltage regulator replaced under warranty because the chrome on top of it looked like something had etched it away..
mike , I noticed my axle cover was rubbing that is how i found out that the top right of the swing arm was rubbing on the frame . i did call milwakee costomer service they made the comment that they were tring to fix my problems as they arose pretty sorry i thought, i feel that they should have atleast extended my warranty . i had hoped that they would have switched my bike . might have to get a lawyer to help.
has anyone had problems with their bikes? to date i have had my swing arm rubbing the frame, engine gaskets replaced(recall), and now the ignition went out,and replaced with another one which is made upside down(door opens to right, bar & shield are upside down) which is of course is keyed wrong . I have 3200 miles on it, owned it 14 months been in and out of shop for 2 of them . ALL H.D. SAYS IS THEY ARE WORKING ON MY PROBLEMS AS THEY COME UP. SORRY. What a great bike!!!!! REAL QUALITY I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A RICE BURNER
do not buy a rice burner , instead take your bike to a pro, because thats what i did . I have a 2008 fxstsse2 and the bike would pop in the throtle body and a one foot flame would shoot out of the air filter and harley said that this was called rider error, that is a copout from harley of trenton n.j. and milwaukee, so I took the bike to east cost choppers in tuckerton n.j. and this guy has this bike running like a top dog.no more harley dealers for me.
