Question Tour Pack

THis may be a stupid question, but I am starting to look for a SE Ultra. Is the Tourpack on the back removable? If so is it easily removable? WOuld probably remove it for local riding and add a different seat. Then put it back on when on a trip.

You could remove it, but the radio amp is mounted under the tour pack, along with the CB wires.

Anything put on can be removed, it's just more complicated. I planned to do that, but after about 2 weeks with it realized I didn't even want to, way too handy!

If you want to remove it, just buy a road glide SE

Default Tour oack removal

You have to purchase a removable rack and docking hardware about $200. Then after removing the current connetions and bracket from the bike you can then start to remove the tour pack from its existing bracket and replace it on the new rack. Then you will have to remove and replace the parts in the docking hardware, When all of this is finished remember you will need to place a antennae inside of your fairing for your regular radio to work and a separate antennae if you want your cb to work. It isn't hard but it does take time. The other problem is where to coil the wiring when you don't have your tourpak on.
