Absolutely love mine. Not only is it beautiful. You can be pretty sure after you do what touches you want to it, you will not see one like it. Not only that but there is so much power waiting. I got 104HP & 104TQ. All I did was TTS Mastertune (on dyno), SE Heavy Breather, And V&H SideShots. Just imagine if i wanted the cams and a 2-1 pipe. Love it.
Any feedback on the CVO Softy convertible? Just curious if owners were happy with the bike.
Ahh... the dream...
I suppose it depends on what you're use to riding. It has the hydraulic clutch which has to be pulled all the way to the bars to disengage, it has EITMS which you can not deactivate, the ride is nowhere as smooth as a Tour bike or Dyna for that matter, the throttle is cable. If you're use to TBW, controlling the EITMS, light clutch and a smooth ride you'll be disappointed. Other than that it's ok.
how does it feel when you park right next to one (or 5 or 6) just like yours? seems to me the "custom" part is gone as soon as its not unique. if it says "Custom" when you bought it, it isn't.
nice bike though. I'd just rather have something that was a little more "mine".
Number one complaint for me is the chrome on both front and rear rims are peeling off. Other than that it is a cool bike. I only have around 1500 miles on my bike. It is pretty fast, and it is pretty. Just don't look to close at the rims because they suck!

My dyna has the hydraulic clutch and it is set on about half pull, must be a softie thing. Don't know about the CVO softtail, but my Dyna is cable as well, no problems with it. As long as both of the cables are adjusted correctly you should not have any problems. Again, My Dyna rides smooth, but the Softtail line SHOULD be a smoother ride than the Dyna, HENCE the name "SOFTTAIL"
