But they looked thinner so I used the gaskets that came with the head pipes. And yes I torqued ever thing . All help greatly appreciated. This is a 2010 se ultra. Thanks Bob.

Reinstall using the Screamin Eagle gasket even though they appear smaller they seal better.
I had an issue with mine where the exhaust nuts actually fell off and had similar issues to yours when I tried the original style soft tapered gaskets. After removing and reinstalling with the Screamin Eagle non compressible gaskets no problems.
This time I also added stainless lock washers and nuts

He says I dont use se gaskets either.Use the crush type he says that came with the bike. I did problem solved and a lesson learned. It was like putting on two sets of pipes this weekend. Oh they do sound good nice deep rumble at an idle. Thanks for the replies. Bob.
Just watch the crush type gaskets as they can close up your exhaust ports by making them smaller when they crush. Don't over tighten them. The SE gaskets will not do this neither will Jim's gaskets.
