Nice bike! I agree about patience. The last set of pipes I put on were the coolest of any available when I bought them and then a cooler set comes out the very next month after I bought them.
I've looked at the S/E springers and dyna's. How does yours run. Any problems? Heard some people complaining about the new six speeds on another forum. Didn't know if the S/E models were having similar problems.
I have the same bike and it is very easy to pull out the baffles and modify it yourself,I just pulled them out cut the packing and sharppend a piece of metal about 2ft long and 3/4 to 1in in diam. and poked a hole straight thru it all. sounds decent until the pipes i want come out. no loss in power and is loud enough with out being anoying. I took care of all this in about 45min.
Not sure if non-US dealers are different but I spoke with local dealer in CA. The SE bikes are allocated to dealers based on some metric (sales volume maybe?). This particular dealer was allocated two of the CVO Springers. He was able to choose the color and when to order them. He had a red one on the floor. The second one he said he could get in any color I wanted.
Moral of the story: If all dealers are the same, you should be able to order one in any color you want....today.

hey nestor do have your Springer SE with you now?? cause I asked for it at my local dealer in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and told me they did those bikes until october/november and that a blue will be arriving on december, but I like the yellow one which they say wouldn´t arrive until Jan 07. So was was looking for the option of buying it in the US and importing it my self, the problem would the the warranty, but you know how does it feel to waitmore than 3 months for that incredible bike.
So I haven´t make a first payment to separate one, I guess you highly recomend it right??
Whats color did you get?? got any pics??
