Now you have opened up a can of worms. LOL Sweetie says if do anything like that to her bike, well you know how they can be about stuff. Like when I bought a low rider yrs. ago and had it torn down in the garage a week later. She got in a fuss bout it but soon realize I knew a couple of things about bikes. Heat gun with dental floss is a great idea. Dont let Sweetie know where you live if I scratch the paint. God help us both.

That's why you use waxed floss, it will not hurt the paint. It may leave a film of wax and look nasty right after it is done but will clean off easily. The fork reflectors will come off easily this way as well for those who like to see the chrome instead of a reflector (which is there for legal purposes by the way)

Don't worry... just like my wifey, I make a suggestion and I hear all the negatives for a few days then find her in the garage doing it herself.

My wife is 58 an needs the back support. Thx
Found one for my Heritage softail at this place. It works with my stock seat (which I was reluctant to replace). Best of both worlds. It works real well for me.
