Default Question about CVO's

Are they really worth it?? Couldn't somebody just add on everything to a stock Harley for less money?

You could, but at the end of the day you have a $23,000.00 bike with $10,000.00 worth of accessories. When you go to sell it you'll get far less for it than a SE Harley

Also, not if you were paying retail for the "everything". And then there is the fact that some of the stuff is available exclusively to CVO owners.

I think it will cost you more to take a stock bike and convert it to a CVO SE. My husband has spent way more money to make his bike CVO-like than it cost me to purchase my Convertible.

Most us CVO owners are kinda crazy about the bike/year/color we bought -

When you find one that does it for you, you'll have one too, be it a CVO or whatever ...

JMO - but pictures of CVO scooters simply do not do them justice. In pics, some look kind of tacky, but they all look great in person. Case-in-point, the 2012 in black & orange.

Or the 2012 CVO Convertible in that blue. It's great, and it's got a black frame, which I believe all bikes should have.

There is something to be said for the V.I.N. stating it's a CVO, (even if it's got a 100,000 miles on it)

And no, not even on my old bike let alone the fancier newer models could you 'upgrade' a stock bike for the same money

If your going to put a lot of money in your bike fixing it up you are a lot better off getting a CVO.

One of the misconceptions is if you buy a CVO you wont be spending a lot of money updating and or adding stuff. A lot of CVO owners still spend tons of money on their bikes changing them to their taste.
