Default Are CVO baffles removeable?

A buddy of mine told me that the baffles may be removeable on the Ultra Classic I just bought

any truth to that?

Yes...if you have a die grinder. There is one or two tack welds that hold them in. Go to Fulsack website and there is a tutorial about how to remove them. He makes replacement baffle inserts for the stock slipons.

i was looking at the dyno charts on the site,

i'm a little confused,

the stage 1 shows a dyno of 110hp

the stage 2 shows a dyno of 102hp?? vs stage 1 of 90something

takes about an hour with a small griner. Get the full sac baffles, you will not regret it. the biggest decision is to keep the baffle packing or leave it out.

IMHO is sound deeper with it in.

Beefcake,

Lets make this more simple for you.

STAGE 1: TTS Mastertune Tuner, X-Pipe Headers, Baffles of choice (1.75",2.0" or 2.25") and theirs a new 2.25" SD.

STAGE 2: ALL THE ABOVE, PLUS: Andrews 54h cams, .030 cometic (sp) Head Gasket.

If you decide to upgrade, try to the Stage 1 first. Most folks are more then happy this set up. The SEAT OF PANTS DYNOS will tell you all, and really make your 110" feel like a whole new scoot!

Good Luck,

YELLOWBIRD
