Default FLHTCUSE - advice please - which one?

Hey Y'all,

I have to make a choice between a 2010 model in red/black, and a 2011 model in blue/black. Difference in mileage is minimal , and the price diffs is only $1800.
I like both colors - my questions:

Any differences I should know about in frames and engines?
Is there a difference in the level of standard accessories?
What accessories should I be getting with each?

I am working offshore middle east, and the bikes are in my home town (Cape Town) and I only get home every once in a while. I have been here since beginning of March, and only going home for Xmas. So I am doing the deal at a distance, so all I have to do when I get back is sign and ride!

I am majorly excited, as this is my first Harley! I have had a multitude of bikes and started riding in 1966 - now I am big, I reckon I can finally get the Harley of my dreams. I have test ridden just about all the bikes as demos over the last couple of years, so I am sure that this is the model I want.

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
Cheers,
Peggers

Go with the 2011! Little money for a year newer. Same bike just newer! The 2010 has too much red! Too bright especially having to look at a red inside fairing as you ride. I have the 2011 Black Ember & Rio Red. I prefer the darker colors. Also 2011 has the dash mounted Zumo(gps)
Change the exhaust. It will make it run cooler. The 110's run hot. Fulsac header & 2 inch baffles & a tuner for performance & sound. You will have to have it tuned also. I have the HD SERT. There are many out there to pick from. Fulsac has a good tuner. Find someone who has a dyno machine & see what they recomend. Fulsac also has a tuner that you can download. Look up Fulsac .com Steve is great to work with!

Also cvoharley.com is a good forum for all your CVO interests.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Danner, for your advice.

I am pretty underwhelmed by the response from everyone else. I guess I will go see what up on the other side.

FYI, I decided to go with the red one. I had a mate go round, and the blue had been slightly less kindly treated by its first owner. He also kept all the extras: GPS, presentation key, cover etc.

Cheers,
Peggers
