I have a 2007 CVO Road King (FLHRSE3). Love the bike but the gas mileage sucks - averaging about 32 mpg. I get on it every once in a while, but usually shift around 3000 rpm. The dealer and what I've read indicate mileage should be around 40 mpg. Realizing claims and reality can be two different things, can someone tell me what mileage can be expected from this 110 SE engine? Thanks.
i get appox 32 MPG on my 12 FLTRXSE, that being said, i have it had it tuned by my local tuner and it runs great but loves the fuel. I asked for help from Jamie at Fuel Moto and just got a new map for my PV that i hope gets me better mileage. Will know after monday.
When I first got my '11 FLTRUSE I averaged 31 MPG after dealership tune.
A few thousand miles later I called up Doc Weaver in Mineola FL and set up an appointment with him for a new dyno and replacement of the SERT that the dealership installed during the stage lll mods I had them do.
Doc got me about another 10 HP and 10 TQ over the dealerships dyno. He also got rid of the throttle by wire lag I didn't notice I had, Doc did. The SERT was replaced by a TT Master Tune tuner.
Now am averaging 40 MPG and the bike runs like a Swiss watch!
I have an 2013 FLHTCUSE8, it is completely stock, only getting 32 mpg. Took it back to the dealer, they ran it across the dyno to verify mixture, everything checked good, HP was 85, Torque was 102. I guess it is what it is, am content with HP and Torque values.

You're close enough to Doc Weaver in Mineola FL. You should give him a call for some free advice. I'm sure he can save you some gas money in the long run and get your bike really running right.

I also have a 2013.
I had the Rinehart XT True Duals installed with a SERT and a dyno tune.
I do ride fairly easy but I get 38-40 MPG's and when I ride with a friend who has a "103" I generally use just a few cents more per fill-up than he does.
The dyno readout on mine was 90+HP,and 110+TQ.
The 5 HP and the 8 ft lbs of TQ for me wasn't worth the cost, but eliminating the heat from the "cat", and the great sound of the pipes was!
