Just curious, will putting that big of a wheel on the front affect handling at all?
I have not seen any ill affects at all. Is it different than a stock 19"? Yes. The turn in is quicker with the 23" which feels like it wants to go through the corners quicker. Triple digits on the speedometer are no problem. Pickard did their homework when they designed the trees. I did A LOT of research before I jumped into this. Having been on my 01 for so long with a 21" and my chopper has a 26", It made the 23" no big deal...
I'm changing out the shocks today for the Monroe's.
If I feel ambitious I'll change the windshield for a Windvest 12" dark smoke I picked up.
Later mods will be changing the bags yet again. I'm looking at a 6" or 8" deep bag with the beveled sides. I'll go without exhaust cut outs this time around and modify my exhaust with a set of "dumps" under the bags. Which of course means I'll have to do something with the fender or at a bare minimum the fender extension.
