I new what I color I wanted called around and found one sitting on the floor at a dealership. Rode out to talk with the salesman and after he gave me his best deal including trade in I rode out and went to another dealer. They had one on the floor but not the color I wanted they gave me a much better deal than the first stop and located the color I wanted and did a dealer trade to get me the bike. Took about a week to close the deal.

I ride with a lot of the folks on the CVO forum,

www.cvoharley.com

I talked to them and listened to their stories and decided what I wanted.

It came available in the most usual way for our group. Don (owns several CVO's) had purchased an '05 SEEG in Teal, to go along with his '05 SEEG Cherry, and 05 SEEG Banana. Then in 2011 he walked into a dealer and saw a CVO Ultra and bought it. Dave, who had an '06 Candy Crimson CVO Ultra, had always wanted a Teal. So he bought Dons Teal, and I bought Daves Candy Crimson.

We kept all the bikes "In The Family" so to speak. We all knew each other, rode together, knew how well we took care of the bikes, so it was a fairly simple decision.

Speaking only for myself, I don't think I would ever buy a new bike, when there are so many excellent used ones out there.

I got my CVO when I was doing service on my dyna. They just got the king I bought in on trade. It was a 2013 with 902 miles. I really wanted a road glide but after a test ride I was hooked on the king. The price was right as the previous owner put about 10k in mods on the bike and I got it all done for less than msrp otd couldn't do better than the new ones sitting on the floor in Stock form. 902 miles didn't bother me. Too good of a deal.
