I have been searching through the forums and can't find an answer to my unique problem. The bike is a 2012 Elctra glide CVO with 20,000 miles on it, a Fulsac head pipe and a TTS master tune. When I put the bike away last fall it was working fine..winterized it..fuel conditioner etc. I have hauled it to Southern Cali for a couple weeks of riding and it now has a high idle issue when it is warmed up. Initially when it is started it does what is expected...(higher idle) for first few minutes, and will have a normal idle (1000 rpm) for first 15 minutes of riding. However once the bike is hot, it will not idle below 1500 rpm. And what is unusual is that if I am at a light I can get the idle down to 1000 by holding the brake and engaging the clutch momentarily ...this works most times but not always. The only code I can find is a front cylinder misfire.
I have had the bike to the local dealer, but they won't touch it because of the Tuner install (California law). I had Steve at Fulsac do the work on the bike but because I left my tuning module at home he is not able to help me while I am on holidays...I have cleaned the trottle body, new air filter, new front temperature sensor. Hopefully someone out there has some ideas...Thanks
It doesn't appear that it is sticking...I have ordered a new "Temperature Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor"... Unfortunately it won't be in till this coming Thursday....
I Have tried the ignition cycling and that doesn't seem to help either...it will always work as it should on start up, but always will fast idle as soon as it is driven a short while.
My fatboy did exactly the same thing a couple of times, but only when the weather was really damp.
If I turned it off with the kill switch, then turned the ignition off, then restarted it whilst it was still hot, straight away, it cured it.
Did it twice, and the above sorted it both times.
It would eventually sort itself out if I left it ticking over at about 1600 rpm for about 30 seconds, but I was worried about it overheating.

The dealer is full of it, he just doesn't want to help you. He is probably afraid he won't get reimbursed by HD Canada for the work. You do not have a California registered bike, plus epa laws are not only limited to California. Where are you? Maybe there is a good independent nearby that someone could point out for you.

Try spraying this with WD40, or a moisture repellent if they don't do that where you are.

I have sprayed the TMAP with CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner...however the sensor must be tucked up a bit in the throttle body as all I see when looking in the throttle body is kind of a black plastic cage, with no sensor that is obvious.
