Trans-swingarm removal?
I'vetaken my trans. & swing arm ***. out of my 82 FXRS as a unit as I couldn't get it apart in the frame. This is mounted together in a rubber-silicone bushing setup that I can't figure out how to take apart. I've tried double nutting the shaft to turn it but it feels stuck.
What's the process to separate them?

I've finally succeeded in separating these two. It's worse than a male & female dog beinghooked up. I fought this for days so my only advice for any that are attempting this is,,,,,,,,be prepared to distroy everything in your sight. Avoid doing it if you can. New parts are not cheap and the frustration level hits an all time high.

This is my first shovel and from what I've read about this particular model it appears as though it's going to be a hoot to ride. I'm having Truett & Osborn installtheir Torque Monster 4 1/2" stroker flywheel
