Shovel heads used at least 3 different styles of starter relay. When I couldn't find delco remy relays anymore for my 72 I just picked up a generic relay from an auto parts store.

I replaced mine with a solid state one. Lower voltage draw and less expensive.

J&P Cycles has a solid state one for about half the price of an OEM one, PN 382-735. On mine, I wired in a 30 amp fuse inline on the battery lead. Works great and have had zero issues with it.
