Oil Puking

I have a '66 FL. After is sits for a while it pukes engine oil all over the floor when it's started. Any words of wisdom on what the problem might be?

It called wet sumping

check the pressure relief Spring abd ball in pump . Also lots of good videos on line in detail on ways to DK and take care of. If you have external oil filter also check that. Good luck. Wild Bill

Depends on your definition of "a while". Virtually all shovels will puke out the vent if let them sit long enough. If mine sits for a couple of weeks...no problem...if it sits for over a month, I'm not cranking it without putting a pan under it.
