The trip meter on my FXE is very tight, I have to hold onto the u-shaped reset cable while gently applying firm pressure to reset the mileage.

Anyone ever take a speedo apart? I could see getting in there with some electronics cleaner and contact lube if I could be sure I wouldn't ruin the speedo trying to take it apart.
