Default 1975 FLH throttle cable?

Hello,
Doe's anyone know the correct part number for a single pull throttle cable for a 1975 FLH with a Super E short carb and stock height bars?

The last one I bought from the local shop was around $55.00 and I had to take it back to get the correct length. I'm not even sure of the correct method of measuring. The black plastic measures 27" on my old cable.

I've found them on-line for $15-$20 but am not sure of the part number.

Thank you..

The standard throttle control wire 33-1/2 inches in length. It is part number 56389-74. It was used with Bendix carbs from 1971-1975. The cable assembly you are looking at is for Kehein carbs that were used on Shovels starting in 1976. And if you have a Super E carb the one in the pic will not work.

S&S Super E I believe were only sold as a dual cable system. Looking at the J&P Catalog they sell the replacement S&S throttle and idle cable for around $40 Their part# for the 34" throttle/idle cables is 400-518.

I sent an email to S&S, they responded with in the hour.
Below are the part numbers.

Thanks for the help.
