Ok so maybe I was wrong about the fl's, that are 41mm excuse me.... but all the old Sportsters and fx's were 35 and the FL's had a better ride so obviously was switched I only said Wide Glide because now, it kind of makes it look like a wide glide as this style wide front end on an fx Style chassis..
I do Not remember any ride Difference... FX vs FL... The FL may steer a bit Heavy/Slow, but I much prefer the FX for My particular Riding Style..
I am Having a very hard time surmising what you have there.
Was it me... I would obtain a Stock tree and front end set-up, unless you have access to a Full 39mm [Dyna Type] front end. Said to be superior... But, I have rode both, and I do Not find a Measurable Difference.
The "Wide Glide" on the other hand... feels Heavy and Slow to me... They generally Look Cool Tho...
YMMV
