More of a rant than anything, but does nothing fit my 81 FLT? I ordered some lights and saddlebag medallions( I have been searching for forever), and nothing fits this bike...
,the early FLT even the evo model was not popular , when they were canceling the series they all of a sudden became the cats *** so Harley re named the bike a road glide, market stuff was not on the table to make for it the introduction of the FLT as at the time AMF was going under, so after market stuff was off the table as after sell stuff
I have one and like the idea its odd enough as it is

Only harley I ever willing let go and didn't regret was a shovel FLT, ugly as my first wife and just as big. Road a 86 FLT all through Europe in 1988, damned bike was as big most cars over there at the time.

The rear "light bar" looks like for FLH [4 speed]
gotta watch some people carefully... they ain't got a clue what fits what... and do know Buzz words... Try FXR specific parts... you'll see.
BTW If ya didn't over-pay for that rear light bar... it would look cool on my Bitter half's '74
