Looks a bit Heavy... Friend has a Buick v6 in his "Chopper"
tends to smoke the Local Boss Hoss's around these Parts....Course... my little Modified Ironhead smokes 'em both...especially in the 1/8... prolly wayyyy different in the 1/2 mile tho...

FL do the steels have the anti rattle on them? and do you have the aluminum pressure plate?

No Big, I have the anti rattle plates in there now and I've found more than one ball bearing in the outer primary on occasion.

those are going to be noisy -- rattle-rattle at a stop -- the anti rattles don't fall out unless they are old - or mis-aligned -- the aluminum pressure plate spreads the grip on the plates more even well worth the $20

today we stared 3 we did with just the clutch FL has bought all kick only and 2 open primary and even with my hearing aid turned up I could not hear them rattle -- going to make an appointment to get mega phones next ------ aaaaayyyy woud u say

I would like to see the dyno sheet on that engine because 900 seems pretty optimistic (for lack of other terms) for a N/A SBC. Nascar can't even manage that number, maybe you should give them some advice.
The 'OUT' was 'OUT', they were installed correctly.
