No colors for me till i have a factory rear fender and a 82 fender badge......ill spend 1500 bucks on it this fall to make it a little more fresh....unless it blow up..😂. The wheels will eat that up,quick....lucky imcan do the paint myself. Like to see the hi fi burgundy...
Spent a bit off time pulling dents and cutting rust out of mufflers...( something new too me! Mufflers?). Anyway now what put on them...hate high temp paint.......but now with most of chrome off piipes / mufflers....dont want rat rust. Anybody play with gun bluing? Ill keep and eye out for stocker pipes. Also going to put a kicker on it which should be cake with this exhuast. What does the moco trans cover look like for 82....same one as ilder years..want oem or close as possible.... thanks. Enough of this ole iron off too bed.....
bluing is a hog hollow thing - wrapping the pipes turns out to be as expensive as new ones in chrome - black captain krylon looks like you are totally broke - the rust look makes you look at your age - well you know
buying pipes with out covers is a mistake and a duel exhaust set is the right choice of course - but your bending pennies again while trying to have it all
the Egyptians figured out you cant take it with you - they will dig you up and steal it anyway - so spend it while you can
