Default 82 flh

Well damn it.....guess I am gonna keep the 82 flh I just bought.......thought I would just keep the 77 but decide 7 bikes is a bit much.
That 82 just kept looking at me all weekend....supposed to buy and just sell it. Keeping it and selling the 77.
I am only 3rd owner on 82 and second owner had it since 6000 miles in 86.

I take the approach everything is for sale - somebody has to have it - it goes no matter what

go looking 10 more are available at a deal

i too have an 82 FLH and thanks John for clearing the foot pegs/forward controls up as i had noticed them as well. Your speedo is the same as mine, i love my FLH ...at the moment,....its always a love/hate relationship with old bikes in my opinion

If you get time toss a picture up of your 82....... Gotta thank John...I don’t think if my title was not so old it would even still have the S part on it. Never decoded vin just checked for a match..

Some of that is courtesey the local DMV...
Ours decided my FXRS-P was a Cop Bike... vs a "Sport Model"... BTW FXRP is a Cop Bike...

FLHS on the other hand... via VIN decode, is the EGlide Sport... precursor to the Road King...

I believe this year a discussion about the FLH S or not that long ago -- and some one posted a picture of an original very low mile machine that shows the peg controls
