Thats a good lookin sled........I have been riding the 77 a little bit and debugging Incase it goes to a friend. Its a great runner but not as comfortable as and flh.
77 is gonna have to find a new home now....no mo room. Lmao
Mileage at the time I picked up my 1982 FLHC belt drive. Amazed how well it cleaned up and ran after being outside for several years. Typical 80 MPH speedo used at the time.

Hopefully I can get to it tomorrow . Go buy a battery. I pieced together a stock carb out of a pile of parts I had kicking around.
See what happens.
Had to make a bracket to hold carb it was falling off...only thing I bought was a set of intake seals and used a ported intake I had...Well for a bunch of junk sporty carbs and pieces Ole iron fired off pretty easy.
Ordered a battery and now get to servicing it.
Tipical fuel leak out of plastic nipple....no problem. Tap 1/4 20. Pull brass out with 1/4 20 all thread and lug nut..Drill and tap for 1/8 npt Grab junk fitting out of scrap box spin it on lath turn nipple down to 3/8 for rubber fuel line. 15 min and fixed. To think we used to do this on the bike in a hurry when I was a kid........than guys made lots of money make no a kit to do it on CVs too.
Sounds nice.. Is that an A2 cam in there? Sounds familiar..
Untouched motor....one reason I bought bike . Its a local bike and know its history. Probably the junk carb gives it a bit of lope...
have a CV thats good on and EVO motor I dont Use anymore .Ill put on it if I find a manifold adapter.
