all you showed and most of what the guy is selling is v twin - know this v twin is the only main supplier in the world today = every one sells the same older bike stuff with a spin its not his when no one else is making it
Still available Part number: 71501-73A Ignition switch Assy from HD Dealers. You may have to have them order it. Just over $75.00 comes with new keys. The newer barrel key switches are a little over $125.00 Part number 71313-96 Somebody is still making these things if they are still available. Harley doesn't make all their own assemblies and parts anymore. The V-Twin switches don't have HD stamped keys and are 6 sided. fyi....
Just get one with round Harley Stamped keys, and you will likely be getting an OEM switch. MY new switch turns and clicks audibly, and solidly as new. You get what you pay for in this case.

Be Careful... Most dealers have a Drag, or CC catalog... and they use it...

Go to any dealers Parts finder website, and you can order the part from the Harley catalog. Every time I order parts this way, it comes in a Harley-Davidson package numbered with the HD part number. You can likely call them up and ask them on the phone if you have doubts, but I have had 100 percent success here with no aftermarket parts substituted ever! There are lots of Genuine Harley Evolution and some Shovelhead parts like this available from dealers. You just have to know where to look.
Given... But run that very number into the Interweb, and tell me people like J&P don't offer you one!!!
Due Diligence
Edit... BTW like all the other fiche sites... they do Not go back to Typical Shovelhead [non-rubbermount] Years...For some Reason....

If you have a couple of newer that are crap from JP and they have a key, can't you swap parts?
I've go 2 on the shelf, an old takeoff and a newer barrel key style. both still work fine I just changed then for something different.
Sorry they're so big.
Not every thing you see on the "Internet" is legit. Harley will at least back up their parts with a warranty. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is likely a fake. For Shovelhead parts you do need to know the correct part number first. You can use the internet for that. The ignition switch the OP is looking for is also a Shovelhead part number. Research and Due Diligence are always prudent...

Thankfully I have the requisite parts and service manuals...all of the ones I need...
I will Not, point to where the ones on the Web are... And If you do Not think the Dealership uses the same sources as any Indy...well
Y'all are on yer own!!!

None of Us are "on their own". Thank you. That's why these forums were created. The OP was looking for advice on a better switch. No reason to keep secret your sources or not share info. My HD dealer parts counter person always asks me if I want to look for a discontinued OEM part in the Drag Specialties, or Fat book. Nothing Nefarious or underground and conspiratorial in nature there.
The fact is, our bikes are getting old. The aftermarket is sometimes the only place to go. And my Dealer can get anything that's available in under two days.

And... I choose to re-Key old O.E. Switchs... Thanks
BTW all of the time we were an Indy, and friends, and the youngest son worked at a dealership... No One ever claimed that DS nor CC offered Discontinued OE parts!!!
