How are you cleaning the clutch plates?

is concise... Not long, dragged out, boring, ... right to the point!!!
I clean clutch frictions with mineral spirits and a stiff Brush... then dry thoroughly, [hang on the line] scuff up on smooth concrete floor and put 'er together...
paper in oil 30 plus years - this is what clutch material is - wont do the job for most if you try and clean them - but it works in a low performance app - many of the old timers will say they clean the discs and hot pail the chains - i dont have that much time left in my life to go after those ideas -- BUT it works for some
