Default What clutch plate should I buy?

The clutch on my 1983 FLT Classic, has been getting grabby lately. Iplan to just buy a new clutch kit, but there are so many options.

I keep seeing options like carbon fiber, steel, Kevlar, ceramic.
I just want something simple to install that will last another few decades

Is there a good brand I should buy? What Material? are they all about the same?

I can't find a video of a ram jet retainer for the clutch hub. I'm not really sure what that is, or how to use it. Is that just the large washer I've seen online to keep the springs compressed

How are you cleaning the clutch plates?

Does your 5 speed have a diaphragm style clutch or a 4 speed type? I run alto reds and a ramjet in my 4 speed.

I know less than **** about finding videos..There are a Jillion write-ups about the Ram Jet tho.. This one,
http://www.laseur.nl/instructions/IN231596.pdf
is concise... Not long, dragged out, boring, ... right to the point!!!
I clean clutch frictions with mineral spirits and a stiff Brush... then dry thoroughly, [hang on the line] scuff up on smooth concrete floor and put 'er together...

paper in oil 30 plus years - this is what clutch material is - wont do the job for most if you try and clean them - but it works in a low performance app - many of the old timers will say they clean the discs and hot pail the chains - i dont have that much time left in my life to go after those ideas -- BUT it works for some
