Rear Wheel Question
I have a 1983 flht with the oil bath setup on the rear chain drive. That is all fine and dandy but eventually I will have to swap it out for a conventional open chain drive. Mine has life left in it but for how long I don’t know, it has 40k on it now. I have found a rear 16 spoke mag off a 1985 evo flh, flt part #43299-85. Do anyone know if this wheel will work for me if and when I do an open chain change over? In the mean time I will keep looking for a backup sprocket that is in good shape for the oil bath setup. The ones I find, which is real rare, are not usable IMO.
