Oil filter needed

Default Oil filter needed
I am having a hard time finding an oil filter for this setup. The thread appears to be a 5/8-18. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bring it to NAPA and have them match it up.

Be Very Careful...Threading on aint ****.. Not too small Particle filtration, and No anti drain back Valve... and watch the Bypass pressure..
Tell yer NAPA guy to approximate a 51215... best filter with a 3/4 thread for a Shovel...
Maybe 51032... But... I cant check from here what ya Gots...
Be vary Mindful... Important part right there...If yer lucky it takes a 57013 like the late 4-speed shovels!!!!

You would be better off making a bracket and plumbing up a 51215 filter than trying to find something that fits that housing.

Looks like the same filter (no pic sorry) and simialr filter mount that is stock on my 84 FLH

16X1.5mm??? That is the '84, 4-speed, Shovelhead Filter.. Might be the same...IDK... Newest IH that I have is a '77 CH... No Filter whatsoever...

Not even in the tank? My ironhead has the filter in the tank.
