1980 FXS starting issue
Have a 80 FXS what wont start.
turn the key on and the handle bar switch to run. Hit the starter button and all I hear is a click from the circuit breaker on battery post.
Have power to the solenoid (new) and when I jump from solenoid posts the starter spins
the battery and starter are pretty new. Battery fully charged. Kept on a battery tender

System has a relay in it also, check the grounding point for that relay when you find it.
Jump from the power side of the solenoid or the + post of the battery to the small wire post on the solenoid to see if she spins over.
