I'm doing a restoration project But can't seem to figure out the front directions there are 4 lights 2 directionals and 2 running lines The wiresSeem to go to a toggle switch and this other switch with the 2 yellow that I don't know where the Orange goes. It doesn't show the toggle switch or this other piece on the original wiring diagram Any help would be greatly appreciated
A few more pics The Violet and the Brown Where the direction should be are plugged in to this switch The switch then has a yellow double line that goes to the other piece., Which I'm not sure if that's a relay Or another flashing device And I don't know where the orange goes. The yellow terminal only seems to be powered When I turn on the right dimension I'm not sure if this is something That was added or came to stock
Orange is your key on hot 12 volts for any accessory
one of the boxes is right and left blinkers - the other is 4 way blinkers and it’s the one going to the toggle switch
only the factory service book has the correct wire diagram - picture it and have it blown up at staples then its garage art and a go to any issue we put them in a poster frame wallys world sells them cheap
I know the Violet goes into number one And the Brown into number 2 On the circuit board for the directionals When you flip the toggle switch on And push the directional to the right it powers the 2 yellow Which goes to the flasher unit. You're saying if I plug the Orange in from the other side of the Flash unit to 12 V power but wouldnt that put power at both ends of the flesh unit it and burn it up? Or is that how it's designed to work
I have the service manual but it doesn't show that switch

The 4-way switch will have alot more wires than the Running lights (spots)
the 4 way functions exactly like holding both buttons.. so at least 4, if not 6 Wires, involved...
Spots function usually by yhe yellow ( by Memory) low beam headlight being On, feeding a 2-pole Toggle, to the Spots..
On My old FLH anyway...
