Since you asked.

I can see why you call your bike Creamsicle, Nice machine, what's the story with those grenade launchers on your ridgid fork?
If the OP is willing to meet you on the road, why not? You have contracted the shovelhead bug so you need to deal with it cause it's hard to shake. I am speaking from experience.

The cone side is my cane holder (I’m a gimp) and the primary side is a reserve gas bottle.

My 1991 creamsicle 1200 Sportster, bought new. It was the color in the catalog for 1991, wanted that color as soon as I saw it.

I have never seen that color on a Springer before, is it factory or you had it done? Tank graphics looks like they are from a Heritage Softail, not Springer. I know HD used the straight yellow (orange) on the 883 Sportster the same year and I have seen Fatboys (I think 1992) with the same two tone. I don't recall ever seeing another model with those colors. Nice bike.

That Sporty looks Bad ***.
I bought the FX used from a dealer. Based on its VIN, it came off the line with black sheet metal.

I would guess someone found the Heritage tanks and than painted the fenders to match, looks good on the springer.

HD also introduced the 80 cu in motor to get around the emmision standards. 1978 mid year changes in engines included steel valve guides replaced by cast iron to help eliminate valve sticking, new valves with hardedned stems for the same reason, and a new intake manifold with a single lip at the cylinder head that mated to ne flat )-rings for a better seal than the old round O-rings provided.

HD produced about 5K of the FLH 1200 models (including the Anniversay models) and about 2.5K of the FLH 80 models.

That said there is no way I would trade out the FXSTS for the Shovel.
Ever notice 78 & 79's are the 2 most up for sale shovels you see?

I wasn't thinking so much about me buying that bike. I thought someone else here might want it. I've got 3 already.

I skipped all the previous post. Don't do it. You are trading down. The Evo is just a shovel head with a new and improved top end. If your Evo is a worn out pos and the shovel is pristine? Go for it.
