What Poindexter isn't understanding is what we know as a group isn't all that common anymore and the knowledge base is getting smaller fast. Lots of squids out there online and in shops think they know and talk the talk parroting what they've heard somewhere else but don't know **** when it comes to hands on. Get's even more pronounced when it comes to the custom stuff and shovels.
Aint it the truth. I originally came to this site to maybe find some parts for a project. I started reading some post and thought I would try to help. I have seen some very knowledgeable people here, but man, for every one there is, there must be a thousand with nothing but internet skills. And lots of people don't seem to know when someone with actual knowledge is trying to help. Mostly I see guessing without any real thought as to the issue. I find myself not trying to help already. Not here to argue.

Why I quit my little side business and the old bikes, got tired of the dewey eyed rolling in with serious problems always telling me all about what their buddies say is best or having a stack of magazines with page makers to make things more fun. Hand holding just got too much. Younger they were the worse it was too, the old hardheads I could deal with.
Not the sharpest when it comes to the bone stock factory always correct stuff, I'll be the first to admit that. But I am the guy you want if it's been neglected and backyarded to tears with the usual assortment of aftermarket stuff of which half never worked right without serious mods or tweaking.

Reason: God I hate autocorrect
That's the thing about shovels and their owners, it's all personal choice, they can be anything one wants them to be.
That particular style is not my cuppa, but I lean to function and daily rideability with some style over whatever the current form craze is with my sleds since I got out of my 20's. That's a bar hopper not much else.
Park your *** on steel plate on a shovel for about 10 miles and see what you think next
