when I got mine they were 2500Euros, & being disabled I got the tax knocked off it, but it still cost about Ł2k, worth it in my book...
I debated adding it to the bike Im restoring now which is kick only but decided against it for the time being. One reason was cost ($5K by the time I have it here) and I would have to cut a section out of a very expensive fender to clear it. The latter being the biggest issue.
when fitted they are hardly visable but cutting an original fenders a bummer, they do two types, the one for rigids mounts lower i think so might clear, not 100% sure of this though,..
I looked at the American version but it does away with the kicker & you end up with a big ugly lumpof billet as the transmission end cover,.. the cannonball is the better but not perfect for vintage with valuable parts

The rigid one needs a 4" by 3" hole cut in the fender where the lower reinforcement is and its replaced with a formed metal patch they provide which is then welded in etc etc.
I ended up getting a Fuelmiser Starter Motor Solenoid 12V - CS51 - 200amp apparently, so it should do the job nicely 🤞
Has anyone got any pics of where/how they have mounted these solenoids???
Racepres - what "quality" button would you suggest???
For Pre-1973 Style??? Look at the Original H-D Button... try to find a Button as Robust in construction!! That is a bit of Current it its trying to Handle...
So I've made up a mount for the new relay from an old bracket left over from another project.
It uses the exhaust bracket bolt holes and sits nicely on the inside of the frame at the back of the gearbox, behind the exhaust and there's plenty of room for the wiring
I'll paint it up black and reckon it looks pretty prettyCheers
